Events, such as tours and cruises, will be handled by specialists we've selected to give you the best prices and options. For events that our office administers, you will be able to use our registration system to RSVP and pay.

UWEC-BC E.A.T.S.
What is EATS? Educational Assistance Through Scholarship-a.k.a. “The tastiest night in Barron County,” is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025 6 - 9 PM in UW-Eau Claire–Barron County (Commons).
It is a gala evening of gourmet specialties prepared by featured local eateries and UWEC-BC faculty, staff and students.

UW-Weekend at the Kalahari Resort
SAVE THE DATE! Join UW-Eau Claire Alumni for a fun weekend away with family and friends in Wisconsin Dells from Friday to Sunday, Feb. 7-9 at the Kalahari Resort, 1305 Kalahari Dr., Wisconsin Dells, WI. Rates start at $199 per night(plus tax and resort fee, up to 4 people per room, additional guests $50 per person plus tax, suites available at discounted rates.)
Included in the room rate: Friday evening pizza social, 6:30-8 p.m. in the indoor theme park, second floor.

UW-Eau Claire Shamrock Shuffle 5K run/walk
SAVE THE DATE! This 5k+ fun run/walk is hosted and sponsored by UW-Eau Claire Recreation and Sport Operations and takes place on Saturday, March 8, 2025; a great way to kick off your 5k season! The route starts on UW-Eau Claire’s upper campus, goes down the infamous Garfield Avenue hill, over the scenic university footbridge and follows the river up the beautiful Chippewa Valley River trail. The race is a loop that begins and ends at the McPhee Physical Education Center. This event is open to any fitness level. Online registration will be available soon.
Feeling competitive? We have a race clock at the finish line, so you can time and track your personal progress. Interested in enjoying a scenic run or walk with friends? Enjoy the views at a comfortable pace. Strollers are welcome if you want to make this a fun event for the entire family!

UW-Eau Claire Wisconsin Day at the Sun Bowl, AZ
SAVE THE DATE! Join fellow Blugolds alumni and friends of the Badger state for a Wisconsin picnic in Arizona on Thursday, March 13. This event is open to all Wisconsinites and sponsored by the Wisconsin Club of Sun City. There is a $10 charge payable at the event that includes Wisconsin themed food, beverages, prizes and live music. Wear your BLUE and GOLD to show your Blugold Pride. Be sure to bring a lawn chair to sit a visit awhile. Let us know in advance if you are going to attend, and we'll put your in name in for a door prize. More details on the Sun City website.

UW-Eau Claire - Desert Belle Boat Cruise

UWEC 50th Anniversary-Viennese Ball
SAVE THE DATE! The Viennese Ball is inspired by the historic Kaiser Ball housed in Vienna at the Hofburg Congress Center, the former Imperial Palace and seat of the Austrian emperors. A multi-roomed New Year’s Eve extravaganza in the style of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elizabeth’s “Ball at Court,” the Kaiser Ball features thousands of flowers, wonderful food, and a wide variety of musical events including Salonmusik, Volkmusik, and, of course, orchestras playing Viennese waltzes. The Viennese Ball tickets go on sale in February, 2025.

UWEC Alumni Band Weekend
SAVE THE DATE! Join us at UW-Eau Claire Haas Fine Arts Center - Gantner Concert Hall, Eau Claire. Register to Join the Alumni Band! Join us April 24-27, 2025, for our Alumni Band weekend as we celebrate the University Bands! The weekend will feature performances by the musicians of the Symphony Band and Wind Symphony including concerto competition winners, student conductors, along with rehearsals and performance of the UWEC Alumni Band. There will be time to connect with friends, colleagues, and UWEC faculty (past and present). Dr. Ostrander and Dr. Stewart will lead rehearsals of the Alumni Band on Saturday and Sunday to prepare for the Sunday afternoon concert.

The Singing Statesmen Spring Concert
SAVE THE DATE! The pinnacle for the Statesmen 2024-25 season is the Spring concert which combines the vast amount of work and dedication that this ensemble has worked for all year. This event often sells out, so get your tickets in advance, and be prepared to be amazed, once again, by UWEC's choral excellence.
